There is topic how to make bible names in your language here

http://e-sword-users.org/users/node/3973#comment-3394

But what i need is not to see localized bible name, I would like to see bible name inside the reading area, lets say instead of showing me before verse "Gen 1:3",like this "Genesis 1:3" or for my need "Yaratılış 1:3"

So in this way i can make full integration with word, without later on editing "Gen" to "Genesis" or "Yaratılış" in my case.
Is that possible under e-sword? If so, how?

Welcome to eSU

YES! if I understand your Question when You copy to word in eSword right click verse copy verse window will pop up uncheck Abbreviate book names

If you use  eSword macros for word you have to unselect in that window also to do it from the macro

Re: Localized Bible Names

Thanks for answer David, yes this solves first part of the issue, which is "Genesis" instead of "Gen",
Second part is about making it "Yaratılış" which is name for "Genesis" in my language, can i do that ?
I got BibleBookAbbreviations.xml file from here and make it like this

<Book  name="Genesis" eswordname="Genesis" number="1" eswordchapters="50">
    <abbrev>битие</abbrev>
    <abbrev>fyrsta bók móse</abbrev>
    <abbrev>genesi</abbrev>
    <abbrev>genesis</abbrev>
    <abbrev>Yaratılış</abbrev>
  </Book>

And when i am creating my bible with BeST there is a section in 4th step called "Abbreviation", but it only effect the name of book at the tab, not anywhere inside.So is there a solution for that also, because as i meantion, your way was helpful to make it whole book name but not a localized one.

That question Ben is way more qualified to answer then me Since BeST is his creation

you might want to post in the BeST support forum click on best in the blue bar at top of window and give him a few days to reply
