I have put together a script to help install a standard set of resources for e-Sword training. I did this for the classes I teach because students generally have fairly slow Vista based laptops - and it takes quite some time to get through all the administrator prompts. I also had to either walk them through each resource install on screen, or provide instructions for installing each one.

The script has the following attributes:

Automatically prompts for admin rights on Vista and Windows 7 - but only ONE TIME for e-Sword and all resource installs.

Only installs e-Sword software if not already installed

Uses what ever version of e-Sword you download and place next to it (you must get it yourself and ensure that your activities are compliant with e-Sword redistribution license policies)

Installs a standard set of resources from folders beneath the the folder the script is in. It automatically recognizes and processes EXEs, ZIPs, MSIs and uncompressed resources - like .bbl or .bblx. (easily allows distribution of your own custom resources)

Will NOT upgrade Version 8, but can still copy Version 8 resources if Version 8 is installed. This allows a standard set of resources for a class of mixed Version 8 and Version 9 installs. This helps when you don't have time to help people upgrade or have advanced users who have resources they can't convert yet.
