Rev. John Miller Graham

The Rev. Graham is writing about his missionary ministry and impressions concerning the inhabitants of Manchuria just prior to and after the 'Boxer' Rebellion (1898 - 1901). This period of China's history was very chaotic while at the same time the Church in China was going through a transformation. Mr. Graham describes briefly the Japanese/Chinese War along with the Christian revival in China just prior to the Boxer Rebellion. I found this writer to be both quaint and insightful in his attitudes concerning the work of a missionary - an excellent read.
