Re: Halley's Handbook to the Bible
I do have a hard copy of Halley's Handbook. I will have to email you later about the year, I only have email at work. The book is old but not sure how old. I picked it up for $5.00 at a book table at a Bible Conference. I'll get back too you soon. My resources are limited when it come to computers but I'll help out as much as I can. Thanks.
For Christ,
Chris
Here's the scoop on copyright:
Halley's has been in production for nearly a hundred years. There is even .pdf files available for purchase of the newest work. However, any Halley's Handbook copyright 1933 or earlier is now public domain. We couldn't use the text of one copyrighted 1934 or later, but 1933 or earlier is now public domain.
Two questions: 1) do you have a hard copy of a 1933 or earlier edition? They are out there and available! 2) are you willing to help us make a module if we provide you the tools and the instructions for how to make?
I grew up with a Halley's! It was one of my very first reference books (along with a Strong's and TSK). You're right about it being a great resource.
Can one of our e-SUrs help?
