Copying text from Hindi Bible
Thu, 07/02/2009 - 06:40
Shalom everyone..
Am trying to copy some versese from my Hindi Bible on ESword to my Microsoft Word but even though I have got Hindi fonts on my computer, these fonts don't paste correctly. I tried the same thing with copy pasting Hebrew and Greeks from ESword to Word, but it has the same issues.
I can't really pin the issue down one particular thing. I've got all Hebrew, Greek and Hindi fonts in the computer which I can use in Word. It's OK when I am copy pasting things from the English Bible...but no luck with any other language.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the e-Sword macro for Word?
If not, my suggestion is to install and use it.
You can find the macros in the "Extras" page at e-Sword.net.

Re: Copying text from Hindi Bible
Hi Guys
I've finally figured it out. I had upgraded by e-sword but the module on my Word was the older version. Now since I've updated everything I can copy things around without a hiccup...
God Bless

rONniE,
What "paste" options are you using in Word? The three choices are Keep Source Formatting, Match Destination Formatting, and Keep Text Only. My experience has been that in order to paste from e-Sword, I "Keep Source Formatting". If your default paste option is Match Destination Formatting, the font of your pasted text will be changed to the font of your document.
Are you having the same issue when you copy and paste into your Study Notes or Topic Notes?
God Bless!
