Re: Greek to Hebrew -9.x (Virus?)

I just downloaded this module and now Stopzilla is reporting that this file has a virus, and that my computer is infected. Is this possible?

Yes, Rene,

unfortunately it is very possible.

Follow all of your virus protocols.

Would you mind blogging about your experience here? We all need to know what's happening.

Re: Greek to Hebrew -9.x (Virus?)

Rene,

I down loaded this resource months ago and had no problem with any type of virus.

In hopes that you picked up a false positive I redown loade it today (April 21st)
and then ran a virus check on the module it's self.

I did not detect a virus before the download process or after.

I ran a check on both the Module and then my PC, and no threats were detected.

This is not the first time that some one got a warning of a virus when many others didn't.

The module is clean according to my anti-virus program (Microsoft Security Essentials).

If you want (and only if you want) download it and then run a check on the module to see if there is a threat and then you run a check on your PC to be sure and clean things up.

Once again I ran it and tested it before I gave you this advice, yet as always my opion even as a matter of fact on this end should never replace you better judgement (now this misclaimer is not my opion and should not be taken as if I'm not sure about the cleanness of the Greek to Hebrew module or even the provider, but I do not know of you connection to the NET or any other circumstances that might be messing with you on you end of things).

Once again, before when some one else complained of a virus upon downloading a modulew that I had downloaded a day or two before, and no one else had a problem either, I re-downloaded the module and double checked things over and found no threats on my end. So I say you should be able as well as all other to down load the resource and injoy the knowledge that can be obtained from it's bossem, Aman.

Shalom to all,
