help with notx. file issues needed

i attempted to update to the new version, but none of the bibles or commentaries appeared. after uninstalling and reinstalling the older 8.x version on startup i get the following error: unrecognized database format
'C:\Documents and settings\My Documents\e-Sword\study.notx'. I can close the boxes and use the program normally, but then when I close I get another error: error compacting database file 'C:\Documents and settings\My Documents\e-Sword\study.notx'.
Shortly after installing this, apparently also triggered a savedump blue screen.
anyone help

Niko,
go into your MyDocuments/e-Sword folder and look for that file with the .notx appendage and delete it. That should take care of your problem.
